While there are a few things you can do to help with Video SEO, such as including relevant keywords in your video Title, and Description, if you use services like Youtube and Vimeo (which don't allow you to remap the originating URL), you only end up sending people that find your video through search to Youtube and Vimeo rather than your site. We're starting to get into using a service called Wistia here. They're 10x better than either Youtube or Vimeo when it comes to using video for SEO. If you pop over to their site and watch some of the intro videos you'll be sold on the service.
